About me – The curator of the “The Turmeric Kitchen”

Welcome friends!

Have a seat, sip a cup of your favorite beverage and get comfortable. I am Jagruti, writing to you from San Francisco, California; while juggling a postdoctoral project with this creative relief and my brain child “The Turmeric Kitchen”. As you flip through this collection of recipes and stories, know that each one has been created with much love, thought and care. A lot of these dishes are inspired by Odia cuisine (Cuisine of Odisha, India) – the food I grew up eating along with the several others that I picked up along the way – one of the many advantages of living in a truly global city that offers up a cultural meld of numerous cuisines.

Come join me as my accomplice in this voyage of trials, errors and triumphs which I would try my very best to make every bit worthwhile! 🙂 Your stories of success with these recipes any questions are warmly welcomed.
